Sound familiar?
Most carers arrive with one sentence they have said out loud a hundred times.
Find yours, and we will show you where it leads.

Stutter and Fluency
“She is not talking yet, and pre-school says she gets frustrated when she cannot tell them what she needs.”

How it works
Three steps, and you can stop after any of them.
A free 10-minute chat
You tell us what you have been noticing. We tell you honestly whether we are the right fit and what we would look at first.
One proper look, then a plan
Assessment sessions to be completed. You leave with findings in plain English, goals you actually agreed to, and a plan you can picture happening.
Sessions scheduled in and a program that fits
The same therapist every session. Therapy built around the routines you already have.
Services
Five things we work on, whatever age you are.
Language and Literacy
- Fewer words, or shorter sentences, than you would expect
- Trouble finding the right word, or following conversations and instructions
- Reading, writing or spelling that holds you back at school or work
Social Communication
- Conversations that fizzle out after a turn or two
- Difficulty starting a conversation, or joining one already running
- Missing the part that was implied rather than said
Speech Sound
- Sounds left off the ends of words, or swapped for easier ones
- People outside the family asking you to translate
- Frustration, or going quiet, when they are not understood
Stutter and Fluency
- Getting stuck on the first sound, or repeating whole words
- Blocks where nothing comes out, sometimes with visible effort
- Starting to avoid words, or avoid speaking altogether
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Little or no speech, and no reliable way to be understood
- Speech that comes and goes depending on the day or the setting
- A device or board that was set up once and never really took

Answers
Questions carers ask
What actually happens in the free chat?
A 10-minute phone call with a speech pathologist rather than a receptionist. You describe what you are seeing, we ask a handful of questions, and we tell you whether we think there is something to work on. Sometimes the answer is that everything is on track and you can stop worrying. We say that when it is true.
Do we need a referral?
No. You can book straight in. A GP referral is only needed if you want to claim the Medicare rebate.
Is telehealth really as good as being in the room?
For many speech and language goals, the evidence says it holds up — and it removes the drive and the parking. For adults, online is convenient as it works around work or other commitments. Based on the information you share, we will tell you if the individual is suitable for online sessions.
How long is the wait?
No waiting times. We have immediate capacity for online sessions. Travel visits to childcare/schools are dependent on location.
Who organises travel sessions?
We will organise travel sessions with the childcare centre or school. We just request that you provide contact details.
How long are the sessions?
Standard session duration is 45 minutes. Where necessary, sessions can be reduced or extended depending on the individual’s needs.
How can we support at home?
10 to 15 minutes a day, implement the strategies provided by your therapist and build them into your daily routine.
Start with a phone call that costs nothing.
10 minutes with a speech pathologist, not a receptionist. If therapy is not needed, we will tell you that instead.
